Rev. Fr. Paul Adah Ahiaba, C.S.Sp, is a Congregation of the Holy Spirit member. Shortly after his Priestly Ordination in Nigeria, he was appointed to the Province of Mexico where he lived and worked for twelve (12) years. He served as pastor in two different parishes in Mexico. He was also elected and served as the Provincial Superior of the International Group of Spiritan Missionaries in Mexico for two tenures.  

Fr. Pablo, as he is fondly called in Mexico, was also the President of Los Talleres del Espiritu Santo (Spiritan Candle Making Factory) popularly known as 'Talita Kum'. The main objective of this Civil Association is to give financial, moral, and spiritual support to indigenous families by allowing them to learn and voluntarily assist in the development of different crafts that would enable them to obtain sustainable income.

During his studies and formation for ordination to the Sacred Priesthood, Fr Paul obtained bachelor's degrees both in Philosophy (2004) and Religion (2009) from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also obtained a master’s degree in sacred theology from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

Fr. Paul is well-talented, especially in developing pastoral and liturgical activities. He is also good at connecting easily with people from various backgrounds quickly.

 

He was recently assigned to a high-profile position as the Pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Hemet, California in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
